New to the rental market in 2024, The Cottage is a detached 2 bedroom property with country views within walking distance of Carvoeiro town centre and the beach.
One of the older and therefore more traditional Algarvian houses, The Cottage was recently refurbished to include new kitchen and bathroom. Beautifully done, the property has maintained its character, charm and cosy cottage vibe.
The accommodation comprises of kitchen, open plan living / dining area with sliding doors opening onto a spacious covered terrace, a bedroom with double bed, bathroom with walk-in shower and a second bedroom with 2 single beds.
The kitchen is equipped with fridge/freezer, oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee machine, pots, pans, utensils, crockery and other necessities you would expect.
The property has wi-fi and there is a smart TV in the living room so guests can sign into Netflix, Prime, Disney + and other streaming services. There are dual air conditioning / heating units in both bedrooms and the living area. The living room also has a log burning fireplace for those who prefer a fire on those cooler evenings.
Carvoeiro town centre is no more than a 10 minute walk away. Carvoeiro is a lovely, family friendly town. From Carvoeiro beach run regular boat trips to the vast array of caves and caverns in the area as well as kayaking, pedaloes for hire and much more. Carvoeiro offers numerous superb bars and restaurants and many open-air musical events throughout the summer months.
There are various amenities within walking distance however buses and Uber are readily available for those looking to travel further afield. A short 10 minute drive will take you to the more traditional but equally popular fishing town of Ferragudo. The city of Portimão just a little further afield but still only a 20 minute drive.
Located in such a central location, this house is just a stones throw away from so many attractions, activities and some of the best beaches the region has to offer.
Casa Ayla is a beautiful 2 bedroom house located in the centre of Carvoeiro on a quiet cobbled street. The house has been fully renovated and is modern, bright and airy. It has a large rooftop terrace with jacuzzi, barbecue area and lovely vistas of the Ocean and surrounding area.
Only 250 metres from the beach and a couple of minutes walk from the town square, Casa Ayla has everything you need right on your doorstep.
Carvoeiro is a popular seaside town, ideal for family holidays, with many options for international restaurants, cafes and dining experiences. Enjoy a gentle stroll along The Boardwalk, taking in spectacular views of the coastline. Boat trips exploring the stunning caves and grottos, leave regularly from the beach. During the summer months (June – September), the square is the perfect place to sit and enjoy a food and drinks, whilst live music and dancing can be enjoyed every night, from the summer stage. For the more adventurous, boat trips, watersports, tennis, hiking, golf, scuba diving and cliff walking illustrates that Carvoeiro has something for everyone.
The accommodation comprises of an open plan living / dining / kitchen area with sliding doors opening onto a south west facing balcony and 2 bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms. Both bedrooms are equipped with double beds and TVs.
The apartment has air conditioning throughout, Wi-Fi and cable TV.
A cot and high chair are available on request.
There is a designated parking space for the house. However, please note that the parking space (3.2m x 3.45m) is only suitable for a mini / micro car
Tourist tax
Please note that on 13th April 2024 a new law was passed approving a new tourism tax (Taxa Municipal Turística de Lagoa). All guests aged 13 years and over are required to pay this tax. The amount is €2 per person per night during high season (April – October) and €1 per person per night during low season (November – March). There is a cap of 7 nights on the tax. Therefore for all reservations in excess of 7 nights, you still only pay the tax for 7.

This charming townhouse offers the ultimate base for your holiday. The apartment is situated only 350 metres from Carvoeiro town centre with its many shops, bars, restaurants and golden sand beach. It's situated on a small holiday complex, very popular with families. There is a communal pool with poolside snack bar. However the pièce de résistance is the new private, roof terrace with it stunning sea views. A superb spot where you while away the hours relaxing.
There is air conditioning throughout and the house has free Wi-Fi, cable channels and a flat screen TV.
A cot and high chair are available on request.
Carvoeiro is a lovely, family friendly town. From Carvoeiro beach run regular boat trips to the vast array of caves and caverns in the area. There is a scuba diving centre nearby, kayaking, pedaloes and much more. Carvoeiro also hosts many open-air musical events throughout the summer months.
The apartment consists of 2 bedrooms. The master bedroom resides on the first floor and has a large double bed and patio doors opening onto a terrace with stairs leading up to the roof terrace with its breathtaking panoramic sea views. There is an attached ensuite bathroom comprising of his and hers vanity unit, WC, bidet and walk in shower. The second bedroom is a twin room on the ground floor. Also on the ground floor is a second bathroom with vanity unit, WC, bidet and walk in shower. There is an open plan living/dining area also on this level which opens onto a lawned area dressed with sunbeds and umbrella. The kitchen is fully fitted and equipped with everything you need and door opening onto a terrace with table and chairs.

The Cottage was a perfect place to stay.
It's located in a very green, silent and safe area. It was just 10 minuts away (walk) from the centre and the beautiful beach Praia do Carvoeiro.

The villa has a large garden and balcony where you can have a BBQ and relax.
The contact with TLC property management & rentals (Andrea Hadland) was very pleasant. They even offered us to arrange a taxi from the airport to the villa.
We had a perfect holiday and would like to come back one day!
