Located on the sought after resort of Quinta do Paraiso, this charming bungalow is just a short, scenic walk into Carvoeiro village centre where you can find a wonderful selection of cafes and restaurants together with supermarkets, bars, gift shops and a stunning, golden sand beach.
This superbly appointed and furnished bungalow offers two air conditioned bedrooms, one with a king size double bed and one with twin beds which share the use of a modern bathroom with walk in shower. There is a fully fitted and equipped kitchen (with oven / hob, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher). The lounge / dining area has patio doors to a private south facing terrace with table and chairs - a great place for dining al fresco - and also plenty of space for relaxing. The terrace itself is enclosed so it’s an ideal area for young children to play in. The bungalow offers Wi-Fi throughout and a smart TV in the lounge provides access to over 200 satellite channels in various languages (as well as local Portuguese channels) and there is a DVD player. Furthermore the property is double glazed throughout and there is a log burner in the lounge for those cooler winter months. Parking is available close by.
The bungalow is conveniently situated close to all the main amenities at Quinta do Paraiso, being just a short stroll from the centre of the complex. Here you’ll find an excellent Italian restaurant (with take-away), poolside bar, mini-market, three large communal swimming pools, children’s pool, kids club and a scuba diving centre. There is also a children's playground, tennis courts and mini golf to enjoy as well as other activities and entertainments which are provided daily by the resort during the summer months (some activities may incur a small additional charge payable directly to the resort).
The walk into Carvoeiro provides stunning sea views and you’ll pass by the beautiful Paraíso beach (a hidden gem down a flight of steps cut into the cliff face, but well worth the effort once you’ve made it down) before walking into the village itself. Here you’ll be able to wander onto the main beach, passing nearby cafes and restaurants and from where you can get boat trips to explore the glorious coastline with its renowned caves and grotto’s. If walking is more your thing, then pass through the village and up to the church where you’ll find a scenic boardwalk along the cliff tops that will take you along to Algar Seco where a drink to take in the breathtaking panoramic views at the Boneca bar is a must.

Please note that on 13th April 2024 a new law was passed approving a new tourism tax (Taxa Municipal Turística de Lagoa). All guests aged 13 years and over are required to pay this tax. The amount is €2 per person per night during high season (April – October) and €1 per person per night during low season (November – March). There is a cap of 7 nights on the tax. Therefore for all reservations in excess of 7 nights, you still only pay the tax for 7.

The house has full access to adult and children’s swimming pools, fully-equipped gym, steam room, jacuzzi, badminton court, ping pong table and boules (please note jacuzzi and steam room are unavailable in July/August). A beautiful balcony offers the perfect place to sit and enjoy the spectacular views of the ocean and surrounding areas, or relax in the private garden, complete with sun-loungers. With its upside down layout, the first floor accommodation comprises of entrance hall, bright and spacious living and dining area, with access to the lovely balcony with sea views, a well-equipped kitchen and utility area and guest WC. Stairs lead to the lower level with a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, and a twin room with en-suite shower room. Both rooms enjoy garden access through patio doors. The house is ideal for couples or a family. A cot and high chair are available upon request and a stair gate is available for toddlers/infants. Michelle’s place was perfect for my family. It was right by the pool facilities, spa shop and restaurant. Easy access to everything, including the walk into town. we went out of season (in april) and the area was fairly quiet. might have been noisiersee more

The apartment is great for two adults and two kids and a nice size balcony. Great value for money.

So often you find blunt knives, no tin openers and things like that but here they had everything, and more. They even had a beach umbrella which was super to borrow! We also really loved our surprising welcome gifts from the property management team, thank you.
