Spacious 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom, detached villa with swimming pool and private tennis court within walking distance of Carvoeiro town centre.
New to the rental market in April 2024, the villa is completely enclosed and gated and set on a large plot amongst mature and native trees and fauna. The cobble driveway offers plenty of space for turning and ample parking.
The pool is 5 x 10 meters and bordered on all sides by terrace and is equipped with sun loungers, parasols and tables and chairs for dining. Adjacent to the pool is covered outdoor barbecue area with additional seating and sink for convenience.
For those who enjoy a game of tennis, the property has its own, private tennis court.
The accommodation is set over two levels. The ground floor comprises of kitchen and laundry room, dining room, living area, 3 twin bedrooms (1 of which is en-suite) and 2 bathrooms. The first floor comprises of a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom.
The kitchen is equipped with fridge/freezer, oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee machine, pots, pans, utensils, crockery and other necessities you would expect.
The living room will comfortably seat 10 people and has a log burning fireplace for those who prefer a fire on those cooler evenings. The living room is also equipped with a dual air conditioning / heating unit, as is the dining room. There is fibre optic Wi-Fi and cable TV as well as some international channels.
The first floor bedroom is equipped with a safe for valuables and has patio doors that open onto a balcony with distant sea views.
Carvoeiro is a popular seaside town, ideal for family holidays, with many options for international restaurants, cafes and dining experiences. Enjoy a gentle stroll along The Boardwalk, taking in spectacular views of the coastline. Boat trips exploring the stunning caves and grottos, leave regularly from the town beach. During the summer months (June – September), the square is the perfect place to sit and enjoy a food and drinks, whilst live music and dancing can be enjoyed every night, from the summer stage. For the more adventurous, water sports, golf, scuba diving, jeep safaris, go-karting, fishing, dolphin watching, cliff walking and wine tasting tours are just a few more of the activities you can avail yourself with.
There are various amenities within walking distance of the villa however buses and Uber are readily available for those looking to travel further afield.
The villa is best suited to couples and families. Please, no stag parties, hen parties etc. Parties and events at the property are strictly prohibited.
A mid-week cleaning, towel change and bed linen change is provided for stays of 8 nights or more. Additional cleaning / laundry services are available at an extra cost.
Tourist tax
Please note that on 13th April 2024 a new law was passed approving a new tourism tax (Taxa Municipal Turística de Lagoa). All guests aged 13 years and over are required to pay this tax. The amount is €2 per person per night during high season (April – October) and €1 per person per night during low season (November – March). There is a cap of 7 nights on the tax. Therefore for all reservations in excess of 7 nights, you still only pay the tax for 7.

This private, detached villa is located in Vale de Milho, Carvoeiro just 350 meters from the golf course and clubhouse and a 15 minute walk from the beach.
The villa is centered on a spacious plot with large driveway and a pretty garden with lawned area. The swimming pool can be heated (heating extra) so guests can enjoy it throughout the year. The pool is bordered by a large terrace equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas and adjoined by a covered BBQ area and outdoor shower.
The villa is equipped with free Wi-Fi, air conditioning throughout and a cot and high chair are available on request.
The nearest beach is just a 15 minute walk away. It's a sheltered bay bordered by striking sandstone cliffs. Boat trips around the caves and grottos leave daily from the beach and it offers various other activities such as pedalo hire, kayak hire, wakeboarding and more. Located at the beach is O Stop restaurant / snack bar which can serve as an elegant restaurant for an evening meal or somewhere to grab a lunctime snack. There are a few other restaurants within easy walking distance of the villa.
Carvoeiro town centre is just a few minutes away by car/taxi. Carvoeiro itself is a charming, family friendly town. During the summer months (June – September), a stage is erected in the square and live music is played every night.
The accommodation comprises of entrance hall, 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, kitchen and living/dining area. The kitchen is equipped with oven, hob, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster and coffee machine. The living/dining area is spacious with a working fireplace and ample seating for 8 persons. Of the 4 bedrooms, 1 has a double bed and the remaining 3 bedrooms have twin beds. Of the 3 bathrooms, 2 consist of bath tub, separate shower, sink, WC and bidet. The third bathroom comprises of sink, WC and shower.

Casa Rosfra is a beautiful, traditionally styled, 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom, detached villa with a heated private pool in a quiet, peaceful cul de sac located just a short stroll to the stunning Centeanes beach and restaurants.
On entering the villa there is a ‘home from home’ fully equipped kitchen, with a washing machine available next to the kitchen in its own utility area. The kitchen opens up onto a very spacious living area with sofa, chairs, log fire and dining area for 8 people. The property is particularly great for two families holidaying together, offering two separate wings of sleeping accommodation. Wing one has two twin rooms (one en-suite) and a further bathroom. Wing two also has two twin rooms, serviced by a shared bathroom. All the bedrooms benefit from air conditioning. Fibre optic Wifi is available and the TV offers offer a selection of English and multinational channels. There is also an iPad docking station, DVD player, English and German books and a selection of cards and games. A cot and highchair are available to rent on request. Beach / pool towels are provided.
The property is set in a large, fully-fenced and gated plot, with wrap-around terraces and plenty of space for al-fresco dining, barbecuing and outdoor living. The 4 x 8m private pool is well sheltered and secluded. The pool can be heated (pool heating costs extra) and has a waterslide (to be used at own risk). There are ample sun loungers for 8 people and an outdoor shower. A gazebo provides a shaded poolside dining area. Furthermore there is a large table, seating 8 on the back terrace next to the BBQ area as well as further dining options upstairs and around the villa. The spacious roof terrace is the perfect spot to enjoy a cool drink and take in the sunset and sea views. At night time, the pool and surrounding areas are well illuminated.
Wonderfully mature gardens, punctuated with fruit-trees for guest use and a lawned area, make this villa perfect for all ages and tastes.
The property offers secure parking for 2 or more cars and there is also a further private parking area for several cars opposite the villa.

The kids made great use of the pool and my husband and brother-in-law thoroughly enjoyed knocking the ball around on the tennis court. Surprisingly, the walk into the town centre didn't take long (20 minutes) and there were many restaurant choices closer still. The company who look after the villa were readily available to answer our questions and were very helpful.
