Casa Cúpula is a private, detached villa located in Vale de Milho, Carvoeiro just 700 meters from the golf course and clubhouse and a 15 minute walk from the beach.
The villa is centered on a spacious plot with driveway with an abundance of parking space and a pretty garden with a sizeable lawned area. The swimming pool can be heated (heating costs extra) so guests can enjoy it throughout the year. The pool is bordered by a large terrace equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas and adjoined by a covered BBQ area with dining area. There are a further 2 barbecue areas, one amongst the manicured gardens and one on the courtyard. There is also a roof terrace which benefits from panoramic views of the coastline and surrounding area.
The villa is equipped with air conditioning, Wi-Fi and cable TV. A cot and high chair are available on request. There is also a pool fence that can be installed for child safety.
The nearest beach is just a 15 minute walk away. It's a sheltered bay bordered by striking sandstone cliffs. Boat trips around the caves and grottos leave daily from the beach and it offers various other activities such as pedalo hire, kayak hire, wakeboarding and more. Located at the beach is O Stop restaurant / snack bar which can serve as an elegant restaurant for an evening meal or somewhere to grab a lunctime snack. There are a few other restaurants within easy walking distance of the villa.
Carvoeiro town centre is just a few minutes away by car/taxi. Carvoeiro itself is a charming, family friendly town. During the summer months (June – September), a stage is erected in the square and live music is played every night.

This stylish villa located in Vale de Milho, Carvoeiro has 3 en-suite bedrooms, a private heated pool (pool heating extra), ping pong table and spacious terraces on which to enjoy the beautiful sunshine predominant in Southern Portugal.
The heated pool is a generous 9m x 4.5m and is enclosed by a spacious terrace equipped with pool shower, sun loungers, ping pong table and a built-in barbecue with adjoining covered outdoor dining area so guests may grill and dine alfresco.
A large driveway gives an abundance of parking space. All bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning and safes. The house has Wi-Fi throughout. There is a large smart TV in the living room enabling guests to watch NetFlix, YouTube videos and the like. Portuguese cable TV is also available as is a DVD Player. A cot and high chair are available on request.
Only 1km (a 12 minute walk) from the nearest beach, Praia Vale Centeanes is a stretch of golden sand bordered by striking sandstone cliffs. It has a snack bar, restaurant and beach goers can avail of watersports such as kayaking, pedalo hire and snorkelling.
Carvoeiro town centre is 2.5km away. This family friendly town hosts numerous shops, bars, restaurants and a beach at its centre. Live music is played every night on a stage next to the beach during the summer months.
The accommodation comprises of entrance hall opening into a dining area with vaulted circular ceiling and sliding doors opening onto a quaint courtyard. The courtyard offers a second barbecue, again with outdoor dining table. Stairs from the courtyard lead to a roof terrace boasting splendid vistas of the surrounding area and ocean - the perfect spot for a sunset drink. Also, leading off the entrance hall is a fully equipped kitchen which leads to a covered courtyard where the washing machine and tumble dryer are located, a WC and 2 en-suite, twin bedrooms. One of the twin bedrooms has sliding doors opening onto the terrace overlooking the pool. Both en-suite bathrooms comprise of a double vanity, walk-in shower, bidet and WC.
The living area is located off the dining area and has an enclosed fireplace, a ceiling fan and wide sliding doors opening onto the terrace overlooking the pool.
The master bedroom suite is located off the living room. Sliding doors open onto the terrace, again overlooking the pool and the en-suite comprises of bath with overhead shower, separate shower cubicle, double vanity and WC.
Tourist tax
Please note that on 13th April 2024 a new law was passed approving a new tourism tax (Taxa Municipal Turística de Lagoa). All guests aged 13 years and over are required to pay this tax. The amount is €2 per person per night during high season (April – October) and €1 per person per night during low season (November – March). There is a cap of 7 nights on the tax. Therefore for all reservations in excess of 7 nights, you still only pay the tax for 7.

Villa Loretta is charming, detached 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom villa located in a small suburb on the West side of Carvoeiro. The villa has a private heated swimming pool (pool heating costs extra), is just a couple minutes walk from the Tennis Club and only a 12 minute walk from the striking cliff tops and hidden coves.
The accommodation comprises on the ground floor of entrance hall, living room, dining room / conservatory, kitchen, bedroom with double bed and bathroom with shower cubicle. On the first floor resides the master bedroom with double bed, spacious balcony and en-suite bathroom with shower cubicle and bathtub. There is another bathroom on this floor with bath with overhead shower and another bedroom also with a double bed.
The villa has air conditioning in all the bedrooms and the living room and also has Wi-Fi and cable TV. Cots and high chairs can be provided upon request.
The pool area is fenced and the terrace is spacious and equipped with 6 sun loungers and umbrellas. There is also a large built in charcoal barbecue with adjoining outdoor dining area for those who like to grill and eat alfresco.
The villa is within walking distance of a few snack bars and restaurants and is only 2.7km from Carvoeiro town centre. Carvoeiro is a lovely, family friendly town which hosts many open-air musical events throughout the summer months.
The nearest golf course is just 2.5 km away and many others within a short drive. The Nick Faldo and Christie O’Connor Jr designed courses at Amendoeira Golf Resort or Penina Tournament Course by Sir Henry Cotton to mention just a few.
A short 10 minute drive will take you to the more traditional but equally popular fishing town of Ferragudo. The city of Portimão just a little further afield but still only a 20 minute drive.
Located in such a central location, the villa is just a stones throw away from so many attractions, activities and some of the best beaches the region has to offer.

The villa boasts a large pool that was a highlight for our group and while we didn't request for the pool to be heated, the water was always a nice temperature. The spacious terrace was great and it provided plenty of room for sun loungers and outdoor dining. Each room in the villa was spacious too & had it's own en-suite. The villa offered great amenities too, from the fully equipped kitchen to the WiFi & satellite TV. The villa's proximity to local beaches and Carvoeiro town was a massive plus, all with 15-25 minutes. Overall, we really enjoyed our time in the villa and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with all the comforts of home. We can't wait to return!

All amenities for the kids were available. The kitchen is very well equipped. There is a great restaurant at just 200m walking distance, very child-friendly and great service. The beds are also very comfortable, what we typically value a lot during our stays. Even though the listing mentions "smoking allowed", it is not allowed in the house, which is a good thing! The house is run by a professional service, and that is also noticeable. The house got cleaned during our stay and the pool men also cleaned the pool one time. Since it was still early in the year, we took the additional charge for the heating of the swimming pool and we are very glad we did it! The kids spent time every day in the swimming pool, and the temperature of the water was really nice.

Incredible pool, quiet neighbourhood and very comfy beds. Was just what we needed. Recommend hiring a car, though you can walk to a lovely little beach (Vale de Centeanes) and further onto Carvoeiro if you don't mind a stroll. Will definitely book again 👍
