Casa Esperança - 3 Bed Villa With Heated Pool, 5 Minute Drive From Beaches & Town

Casa Esperança is a traditional 3 bedroom villa located on a small urbanisation, just a couple of minutes’ drive from the popular seaside town of Carvoeiro. The villa offers sweeping views towards the mountains of Monchique and of the surrounding area.
The outdoor areas boast established gardens, a heated pool (pool heating costs extra), large patio with outdoor seating area, barbecue and covered parking.
The villa is equipped with air-conditioning, enclosed log fire, wi-fi and internet TV with UK channels. A cot and high-chair are available upon request.
Carvoeiro is a popular seaside town, ideal for family holidays, with many options for international dining out. Enjoy a gentle stroll along The Boardwalk, taking in spectacular views of the coastline. Boat trips exploring the stunning caves and grottos, leave regularly from the beach. During the summer months (June – September), the square is the perfect place to sit and enjoy a meal and drinks, whilst live music and dancing can be enjoyed every night, from the summer stage.
The accommodation comprises of a spacious living area which opens onto a large terrace overlooking the swimming pool, offering plenty of shade. The kitchen, with island, opens to the dining area. The master bedroom benefits from an en-suite shower room. Bedroom 2 and 3 are serviced by the family bathroom.
Tourist tax
Please note that on 13th April 2024 a new law was passed approving a new tourism tax (Taxa Municipal Turística de Lagoa). All guests aged 13 years and over are required to pay this tax. The amount is €2 per person per night during high season (April – October) and €1 per person per night during low season (November – March). There is a cap of 7 nights on the tax. Therefore for all reservations in excess of 7 nights, you still only pay the tax for 7.
Casa Rina is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom villa with a rustic feel located in the countryside only 2.5km from the coast as the crow flies.
There is a private 8m x 4m swimming surrounded by a large terrace equipped with sun loungers and sun umbrellas. A new seating area has been recently added. A retractable pergola offers shade and a comfy sofa, 2 hammocks and distant sea view makes this a fantastic area to relax and soak in the sun and surroundings. Furthermore there is an outdoor shower, charcoal barbecue and tables for dining outside.
The house is has air conditioning throughout, FREE wi-fi, satellite TV and an abundance of parking space on the driveway. A cot and highchair are available on request.
Set on a large plot and offering complete privacy from the neighbours, this villa is the perfect environment for relaxing holiday away from it all but is still only short drive away from nearby towns with their many shops, bars, restaurants & activities.
Carvoeiro is the nearest town and has numerous restaurants, shops and bars. At its centre sits a beautiful sandy beach. Boat trips that explore the coastline and its caves and grottos leave regularly from the beach. Also during the summer months (June – September), a stage is erected next to the beach in the square and live music is played every night.
Nearby is also the small fishing village of Benagil where is located the famous sea cave Algar de Benagil as well as several other restaurants.
The award winning beach, Praia da Marinha, is also only 4km away.
A single level property, the villa consists of an open plan living / dining area which opens onto a terrace overlooking the swimming pool, a fully equipped and modern kitchen, 3 bedrooms (2 of which have double beds and the third has 2 single beds) and 2 bathrooms (1 comprising of bath, sink, WC & bidet. The other comprising of walk in shower, sink & WC).
Guests have full, private use of the entire property to include the living/dining area, kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, entrance hall, driveway, garden swimming pool and terraces.
The villa is looked after by a property manager. You will be provided with contact details for the property manager in case you have any questions or need assistance during your stay. The property manager also has a 24h emergency phone number.
A car is highly recommended.

Casa Prensa is a charming 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom villa situated in a traquil area just outside of Carvoeiro but only a 5 minute drive from the centre of Carvoeiro, local beaches, restaurants, shops, bars and activities.
There is a private 8m x 4m swimming, outdoor shower and built in barbecue with adjoining seating area. The garden is well tended with mature pine trees. A spacious driveway offers an abundance of car parking space.
The house is equipped with air conditioning throughout, free wi-fi, satellite TV and a safe. A cot and highchair are available on request.
There are several stunning sandy beaches all within a 5 - 10 minute drive of the villa. The villa is only a short drive/taxi ride to Carvoeiro centre from where there are boat trips to the vast array of caves and caverns in the area. There is a scuba diving centre nearby, kayaking, pedaloes and much more. Carvoeiro hosts many open-air musical events throughout the summer months.
The ground floor consists of open plan living / dining area which opens onto a large terrace overlooking the swimming pool, a fully equipped, recently renovated kitchen, two bedrooms, one with en-suite bathroom, and a further family bathroom. On the first floor resides the master bedroom with double bed, en-suite bathroom and a spacious first floor terrace with stunning views of the surrounding area and distant sea views.
Inside the villa is an information book with emergency contact numbers and useful information about the villa and the local area. Guests are also provided with a 24h contact number so they can contact the property manager in the event of a problem or with regards to any questions pertaining to the house.
We recommend hiring a car when staying at Casa Prensa. However buses are available in the area and local taxi firm numbers are provided in the house information book.

We stayed for 10 nights and the villa is a lovely relaxing place. It is perfectly centralised for Carvoeiro restaurants, two waterparks and several beaches and sightseeing. We spent a lot of time using the poollazing on the patio area. The powered awsee more

We spent a lot of time using the poollazing on the patio area. The powered awning was especially appreciated for shade. The host was extremely helpful, and responded quickly to our queries making our stay very comfortable. We did really enjoy our stay and would highly recommend the host and the house.

Loved our stay thank you. The pool could of been cleaned a bit more often as it got dirty very quickly with leaves etc
