Located on the sought after resort of Quinta do Paraiso, this charming bungalow is just a short, scenic walk into Carvoeiro village centre where you can find a wonderful selection of cafes and restaurants together with supermarkets, bars, gift shops and a stunning, golden sand beach. This superbly appointed and furnished bungalow offers two air conditioned bedrooms, one with a king size double bed and one with twin beds which share the use of a modern bathroom with walk in shower. There is a fully fitted and equipped kitchen (with oven / hob, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher). The lounge / dining area has patio doors to a private south facing terrace with table and chairs - a great place for dining al fresco - and also plenty of space for relaxing. The terrace itself is enclosed so it’s an ideal area for young children to play in. The bungalow offers Wi-Fi throughout and a smart TV in the lounge provides access to over 200 satellite channels in various languages (as well as local Portuguese channels) and there is a DVD player. Furthermore the property is double glazed throughout and there is a log burner in the lounge for those cooler winter months. Parking is available close by. The bungalow is conveniently situated close to all the main amenities at Quinta do Paraiso, being just a short stroll from the centre of the complex. Here you’ll find an excellent Italian restaurant (with take-away), poolside bar, mini-market, three large communal swimming pools, children’s pool, kids club and a scuba diving centre. There is also a children's playground, tennis courts and mini golf to enjoy as well as other activities and entertainments which are provided daily by the resort during the summer months (some activities may incur a small additional charge payable directly to the resort). The walk into Carvoeiro provides stunning sea views and you’ll pass by the beautiful Paraíso beach (a hidden gem down a flight of steps cut into the cliff face, but well worth the effort once you’ve made it down) before walking into the village itself. Here you’ll be able to wander onto the main beach, passing nearby cafes and restaurants and from where you can get boat trips to explore the glorious coastline with its renowned caves and grotto’s. If walking is more your thing, then pass through the village and up to the church where you’ll find a scenic boardwalk along the cliff tops that will take you along to Algar Seco where a drink to take in the breathtaking panoramic views at the Boneca bar is a must. Tourist tax Please note that on 13th April 2024 a new law was passed approving a new tourism tax (Taxa Municipal Turística de Lagoa). All guests aged 13 years and over are required to pay this tax. The amount is €2 per person per night during high season (April – October) and €1 per person per night during low season (November – March). There is a cap of 7 nights on the tax. Therefore for all reservations in excess of 7 nights, you still only pay the tax for 7.

The house is within easy walking distance of the striking clifftops of Vale da Lapa. Within a 15 minute walk of the house there are a few restaurants, coffee shops and mini market. The popular seaside town of Carvoeiro is just a 5 minute drive. Another short 5 minute drive will take you to the more traditional but equally popular fishing town of Ferragudo. Both towns are ideal for family holidays, with many options for international restaurants, cafes and dining experiences. Enjoy a gentle stroll along The Carvoeiro Boardwalk, taking in spectacular views of the coastline. Boat trips exploring the stunning caves and grottos, leave regularly from local beaches. During the summer months (June – September), Carvoeiro square is the perfect place to sit and enjoy food and drinks, whilst live music and dancing can be enjoyed every night, from the summer stage.
